The challenge

Healthcare workflows need precision without slowing the front desk.

Diagnostic centres need to coordinate patient data, test orders, reference ranges, report approval, printing, and delivery—while keeping each organisation’s information isolated. The product needed a reliable operational core rather than a collection of disconnected screens.

My role

Founder & product engineer

I designed and built the platform’s backend architecture, permissions model, reporting workflows, and asynchronous delivery mechanisms.

Key capabilities

  • Patient registration and test ordering
  • Gender- and age-aware reference ranges
  • Structured reports and branded PDF output
  • Delivery tracking and notifications

Architecture

Designed for secure tenancy and real operational work.

Tenant isolation

Data access is scoped at the queryset layer so users work only within their organisation’s data boundary.

Role-aware workflows

Six role levels support distinct responsibilities across administration, operations, diagnostics, and patient-facing delivery.

Outcome

A production-ready foundation for diagnostic-centre operations.

LabLink brings core operational steps into one system while keeping the data model, permissions, and reporting infrastructure ready to scale with each tenant.
